What printer is best for printing DVD box inserts? We use a slow, clunky Canon Pro 9000 Mark II. It just stopped working. Shall we replace it with the same printer (or it’s successor) – appr $400 – or is there a newer, better, faster, more economical alternative that anyone can suggest. Thank you.

We use an Epson Artisan 837. Not necessarily because it prints on thick paper smoothly – it doesn’t – but it is one of the best printers suited to replace the ink cartridges with a CIS, which if you are printing a LOT, can save you a LOT of money.
