What Kona product to buy?
I am hooking a BETA SP deck up to my MAC and was wondering what is the best (and simplest) AJA product to buy for the following use: I want to make Master Beta Copies straight from HD projects using Final Cut. I need Deck Control for the Beta and to down convert from HD to SD for the Beta copy. This is a necessary evil because I am paying way to much for Beta dubs for TV stations that still require them.

If you’re interested in a Kona LHe and Breakout Box let me know, I have one that I bought as a backup to my Kona 3, used very little.

AJA LHI.. I’m in the same “exact boat that you are. Finally got it 5 months ago. love the product… highly recommend the breakout box and if you don’t have house sync the AJA Gen 10 provides HD and SD sync in the same box. you also get up convert in real time on the fly. I’m making dubs as we speak.
