Activity Forums Adobe After Effects what kind of filter is this

    they look like they are in camera effects… meaning they were shot that way.

    i do think they were not shot with the video, though. i think the may have been actual lens flares on a black background that were composited over the footage using a blending mode like screen or add.

    they may have been further effected by animating the scale, opacity and maybe a wipe effect.

    Yea…I like Kevin’s idea. You could further add to the complexity of the light structure by shooting black through an angled mirror (clean it)…and use a laser pointer…you could get some very trippy looks.

    Looks like a flare in background with the obstruction layer defined in foregroung (dancer). Dancer looks matted and added in multiply mode.

    Just looks like that ^^

    If you add some glow and soft focus, along with a couple random lens flares…adjusting for a while, you might achieve the same results.
