CC is Cycore FX products. They should all come as standard with AE7 Pro or CS3.

i haven’t heard of cc opacity, but cc composite is bundled with after effects cs3 and also wither the more recent versions of after effects pro (note that cs3 is only available as the pro version).

with cs3, the ae installer is set by default to automatically install the third party bundled effects. if you had chosen not to install them, you may be able to install them through the installer without needing to reinstall ae, but i haven’t tried it.

if you have an earlier pro version of ae (6.5-7.0, maybe earlier), the cc effects will be on the install disk. the installer is located in the cycore folder with in the extras folder. run the installer and it should install the cc effects.

if you have the trial version of cs3, or a standard/educational version of an earlier after effects, you probably don’t have the cc effects. they can be purchased from cycorefx.com. the purchased version may have cc opacity, there are several additional effects in the purchased version, along with other improvements.

which tutorial used cc opacity? (since i hadn’t heard of it, i’m curious)
