  • What is the shortcut to Open/Close options for all layers

I can’t find this anywhere. I have a comp with many layers. I want to be able to open (untwirl) all options for layers and then close them. Is there a shortcut for this?

See “Show or hide properties in the Timeline panel” in After Effects Help.

    Thanks!

For anyone looking to do this:
“To expand or collapse all groups for selected layers, press Ctrl+` (accent grave) (Windows) or Command+` (accent grave) (Mac OS).”

Accent Grave is same key as Tilde.

In the latest version this function toggles a green grid not closing layers. Any idea what it is now?

Ok figured it out. As of the current version (Creative Cloud) the shortcut is U to open/close all. See https://motional.net/learn/afx/after-effects-timesaving-shortcuts

Thx Kyle for avoiding us to have to read a manual.
