    What is the best way to transfer a Youtube video to ProRes 422 via MPEG Streamclip for FCP7?

    I’m converting some videos from Youtube to use in a FCP7 project. I’m exporting them at full quality and uncompressed audio to Pro Res 422.

    What settings should I have for optimal quality. Specifically…

    Frame rate: Do I turn on Frame Blending or Better Downscaling?

    I have interlaced scaling checked. I don’t have deinterlaced video checked. My field dominance is upper field first.

    Anything else?

    Is there a reason you had compression quality at 50% and not 100%?
