    What is the best way for adjusting audio levels across a long project with many clips and diffrent audio situations and diffrent subjects in diffrent enviorments. also the fastest way would be great!!!!

    Select Clips > Modify > Levels Dialog will allow you to adjust multiple clips levels relatively or absolutely.

    if you’re trying to normalise the audio accross all these different clips then the “Normalize Gain” filter in FCP 6 may help https://www.larryjordan.biz/articles/lj_normalizing_audio.html

    or course this is just going to bring all your peaks to the same level, but it may well get you in a goosd place to start your manual adjustment using your ears and meters toolset 🙂

    when u say select clips u mean highlight all clips then select modify, because i can’t find select clips in any of the pull down menus in final cut
