what is the best video format to use !!
could you tell me please what is the best vedio format to use ? DVCPRO? DV Pal? animation?….
i have a QT movie that i got from a freind and i need ti import it to Avid, but it says that the codec is not found so i have to take it to FCP and save it in different format, but the size of the file become half the origenal size!! what should i do? (the QT was created in AF and using the animation codec) -

lots of folks use QT Animation. Never use use a DV/DVC codec unless you WANT to degrade the image.

use the avid codec It will import quicker.
BTW what version of avid are you using?
