  • What is the best 1080 capture mode

    Hi,

I need advice from experienced video film makers.

    My camera is able to capture @ 1920 x 1080/50p, 25p, 24p and 50i (PAL).
Which video capture mode will provide the best quality in final material after editing in Premiere Pro and exporting results to Blu-Ray (bear in mind Blu-Ray spec)? Which Blu-Ray export settings do I have to choose for proposed capture mode – progressive/interlaced, at what fps?

PS. I have read the progressive capture at low fps results in jitters when panning – is it true? Any advices on this issue in the context of my equipment?

    Best regards

I always shoot at 1920 x 1080/50p, so that it helps me for making slow mo footages too.

And then I simply export to mp4 and then burn to Blu-Ray using Encore.
