    With PP1.5, it was very fast to drop high-res still photos onto the timeline and then do quick moves with them. I found the rendering to be very fast.

    Now with ver. 2.0, this is sadly not the case. I am dropping 1400×900 photos on the timeline (hardly a stretch on 1.5), and the rendering speed is sad… very sad. Like maybe 10% of the speed of version 1.5

    Not to jump to harsh pronouncements, but it will be necessary to use 1.5 again until this is resolved.

    .-Well, my still renderings are veeeeeery fast with 2.0, faster than 1.5.1.

    In fact, I feel ALL rendering proccesses and times have been improved in 2.0 over 1.5.1.

    Re-check your settings, just in case.
