    Hi,

Just recently got a Decklink Pro for monitoring only, as my system is not quite fast enough (I don’t think?..) for capture/playback aswell.

However, after a suggestion by a colleague today I was keen to test if it DOES work, or at least if deck control and still frame capture/playback does…

I ideally want to be able to control a digibeta deck and grab still frames from it as TGAs or similar. Also ideally I like to be able to lay of still frames back to tape/to edit suites (again as TGA sequences ideally)

Is this possible via a combination or Deck Control and Framelink?

I can’t seem to find any info on exactly what Framelink is! And without admin rights I can’t seem to open the app..

I currently use a DVS Clipstation for grabbing/laying off frames, but there is no deck control – which would help a great deal!

    Thanks.
