What effects were use din this clip ?
Hi Guys
I came across this clip http://www.hadlowpro.com and was amazed at the effects being used and I was wandering how some of the effects were created, that is assuming Andy Gordon was using After effects. I’m a kiteboarder myself and I’m just about to put a clip together of a recent trip. I’m pretty new at AE and have been following Andrew Kramer’s amazing tutorials and would like to know if any of the tutorials there would help me get this kind of look.
Ones that interests me are the bullet time like effects, which I assume is not real bullet time in the traditional sense ? and the silhouetted freeze framed sequence that catch up to the playing video, also what looks like some kind of tracking lock which gives the feeling that the camera was locked of a specific area in the video very hard to explain but it is used towards the end of the clip showing the kite if flight. And lastly the coloring method used in the video is vey appealing and I’m finding it difficult to reproduce.
Any help would be great, thanks for your time
