What editing SW should I use?
Posted by Q1978 on August 30, 2007 at 12:57 pmHey guys, I’m a newbie at this so bare with me.
I want to start editing wedding videos. What system should I use? Mac with FCP or PC with adobe Premiere pro? Money is not an issue. Any tips or suggestions?Wedding_guy replied 18 years, 8 months ago 6 Members · 5 Replies -

August 30, 2007 at 10:25 pmThere are lots of choices, but if you ask in Premiere Pro foeum like you did, you might expect that we will tell you to learn to use the entire Adobe CS3 Production Premium.
Get lots of training and with the entire suite you can do just about anything you might ever possibly think of. Seriously, spend money on training, regardless of which platform you choose.

Some formats don’t play well with PPro.-jeff

There are not may editing jobs offered for Premier as compare to other two unfortunately… However for wedding Ppro is more then sufficient. -

September 4, 2007 at 1:14 pmSorry guys just switched my user name to Q1978 to wedding_guy. My Budget will be no more than $10,000. I heard that premiere pro with the matrox axio card most of the effects are realtime so no need to render compared to FCP when you need to render some effects. So if we are talking about saving time woudln’t the PPro with matrox axio card on a PC be better than FCP on apple?
thanks a million
