WHAT DOSE “background Process” REFFER TO?
What is being referred to when they speak of “background Process” WHEN SUBMITTING A BATCH IN COMPRESSOR? I keep getting the window that pops up when I am trying to submit batch that says, “CANNOT SUBMIT BATCH UNABLE TO CONNECT TO BACKGROUND PROCESS”.

1st result will tell you that background processes refers to Qmaster and might also be a fix for your problem
