What does this icon mean?
It used to be just a sequence, like the one above. now it can only be opened in source window, not as a sequence. i’m on CS6. see image

That’s a multicam sequence. If you hold command (ctrl on PC) while clicking, you should be able to open it in a sequence panel. If not, drag it into a sequence, then command click from there

the transition from fcp has been painful. -
The transition is clunky in awkward. But I’m confident that once you get PPro down, you will fly through edits
