What does the UI look like, really?
Posted by Ola Haldor voll on July 22, 2010 at 11:19 pmI’ve been searching a bit, but can’t really find any good photos of the UI of DaVinci Resolve. Out of curiosity – if anyone has something, would you mind sharing?

July 23, 2010 at 1:01 amTo be a “real” colorist I think daVinci should go back to the old monochrome text-only Renaissance classic display. The one that didn’t display anything but the list.

July 23, 2010 at 2:54 amUnless they changed the GUI since NAB, it looks just like the older Resolve. The problem with that is if they don’t add hue wheels and you don’t have a control surface, you’ll have to use the little primary black/gamma/gain bars in the bottom left corner as a substitute.

July 23, 2010 at 3:28 amNo, its pretty obvious that the NAB versions were breadboard based on the “old” system.
