You have a system that’ll accept Firewire audio?

I have a g5 that is a year old with soundtrack pro. That will work right?

    Hello Luke,

    That *should* work.

Here’s a thought. According to the below link, that model may not be aggregatable — aggregatable means you can add mixers and have more inputs if you need them in the future. If you’re just going to use it for VO for yourself, not an issue.

Thanks so much for your input.
Do you know of any other products that would better suit my purposes? Along with voice overs, I also want to record vocals for songs. I do some music editing for churches and weddings. I dont want to spend a fortune but I want it to be reliable and also good quality. Thanks

    Hello Luke,

I have been a very happy Pro Tools LE user, currently with a DIGI 002Rack. There is a learning curve, but if you go to my site and click on the Ty Ford Music Sampler, you can hear some of the music I produce here.

    Regards,

    Ty Ford
