What determines the playback external device options?
Hiya.
I’m running CS5.5 on a Mac OS 10.7.5 hackintosh.
In Premiere, when I go to
Sequence Settings -> Playback Settings -> External devicePremiere is only seeing my secondary monitor (without the dock), and DV.
I have HDMI to my (shows the dock) monitor 1 and DVI to my monitor 2 on a AMD Radeon 6870 card. It works fine for all other apps.
Any ideas why it won’t offer me the HDMI monitor as my external device?

First select the monitor under Devices in Preferences > Playback. That should enable it in the sequence settings.
