  • What codec to use when wanting crossplatform harmony???

    Hi,
I’m doing something for a client in Mac Final Cut Pro 4.5 and they are about to purchase Premiere Pro on there PC. I have been asked to create files that they can read in Premiere. If I created a Quicktime and an AVI what list of codecs would Premiere be able to read?
    Thanks

Premiere can read Quicktime DV providing QT player is installed.

But not without rendering the timeline to Video for Windows MainConcept DV25 right? Premiere Pro is not really a QuickTime application.

If quicktime is installed, then premiere should be able to read almost all of the mac codecs.
