What BlackMagic Product to buy?
I am hooking a BETA SP deck up to my MAC and was wondering what is the best (and simplest) BlackMagic product to buy for the following use: I want to make Master Beta Copies straight from HD projects using Final Cut. I need Deck Control for the Beta and to down convert from HD to SD for the Beta copy. This is a necessary evil because I am paying way to much for Beta dubs for TV stations that still require them.

Hi,
Have a look at DeckLink Studio. It has analog component outputs with RS422 deck control and 4 channels of analog audio. It also hardware down converts which will be perfect for your needs.
