  What are your views about Recompress, uncompressed to DVCPro50?

  I do my roughcut uprez from DV to 10 bit uncompressed with
  Media Manager and batch captures and as everyone knows this is
  OK but problematic. So I was thinking of trying the “recompress”.
  I’ve done a small project that wasn’t for broadcast that really
  doesn’t need to tie up so much space on my drives at 10 bit
  uncompressed. I want to take it down to DVCPro50.

  How do people feel about the quality of using “recompress” for this?
  Since I’m going down instead of up, I was thinking it would be ok.
  I did some tests and the clips seem to look fine.
