December 22, 2005 at 4:59 pmMerry Christmas, man.
We are stayin home this season. We always head back to Dallas but this year we aint goin anywhere. I’m stayin in my undies and the kids are tacklin presents under da tree from us and santa.
Only takin 2 daze off but they are well deserved.
I am finding this adrenaline adds alot of hours to my day.
Not sure I can keep this thing. FCP is lookin gooooood right now.

December 22, 2005 at 5:53 pmNOT WORKING! 🙂
My 8 year old niece really needs someone to set up her electric trains, so that is as technical as I get on Christmas.
Merry Christmas to all.

December 25, 2005 at 12:58 amI’m curious as to how the Adrenaline is adding hours (if ya don’t mind elaborating). We just bought two because we couldn’t deal with hours being spent trying to uprez on FCP. Our purchase decision was based on Cow postings regarding FCP Media Manager horror stories. But I suppose if your work is mostly shortform and you don’t have to uprez then FCP would be a better solution.
But I am curious to know what kind of problems we may be in for.
Happy Holidays!

December 25, 2005 at 11:20 pmIt’s just a buggy little beast. Makes me cranky by the end of the day. Little things like having to reset the openGL card becuse the composer window on the computer monitor stop playing video are really not that little in a 10 hour day.
I shouldn’t say it adds hours to the day. Just makes it seem like it.

December 25, 2005 at 11:28 pmOh yeah, I had that too. Very annoying. But I also hated having to reboot the mac when FCP’s edit to tape decided it didn’t want to insert with any timecode accuracy. Among other things:)
I guess there’s bugs everywhere. Just different species.
