    I’m trying to do an image search for those types of images, but I have no idea what they’re called…

    I basically want to map a 360 degree environment inside after effects to use outof the window of a car image to create the illusion of movement using Trapcode Horizon…

    Is there a better way to do this?

    Do a google search for 360 HDR photography , that returns some usable results(360 HDRI spherical will find some good ones too). I switched it to return large results. I wouldn’t use any of those photos for professional use, but if you need something to practice with…

    If you have CS6, you can use CC Environment, or the environment map also.

    You might also find some suitable images if you search for ‘equirectangular’ images.
