What are the best settings for maximizing AE 7?
I was wondering what the best settings for ram, disk cache, and the computer? If I have 16 GB of ram, shouldn’t I be maxxed out, or is it more the video card that plays a bigger role in the Ram Preview?

what os are you running? on anything but windows xp 64bit, ae cannot use more than 2gb (or the 3gb switch in xp).

AE 7 can use 3 GB is OSX 10.4 as well. But 16 GB… wow. That’s like… a lot. Although, I am sure in a couple of years it will seem like almost nothing.
