    Hi all,

I’m doing a clean-up and archive of my drives and array and of course I encountered Constant Frames folders inside the Render folders. What are Constant Frames? I don’t see the answer in the index of the manuals or in the app help function and there is very little reference to them on the forums here.

Any wisdom out there for me? TIA.

Constant frames contains data and information about still images or image generators that FCP can easily reach/retreive. Usually these folders don’t take much space and, if you wish, you can get rid of them after completing a project. If you want to know what project they belong to then open them in QT player, place the cursor over the player and hit command +I. QT inspector will give you the required information.
