what are broadcast standards?
just wondering if i am correct in this.
to make my video ready for broadcast all I have to do is make sure the white levels are clipped at 100, black at 7.5 colors are not too saturated and audio is leveled at -12 or -20 depending on what they need?
is this correct?
like, if i add a filter to the top track that protects all of the HSL and RGB values i will be straight for sending it to broadcast?

Have you ever used a waveform/vectorscope? You can also get the specs from the brodcaster to ensure you are correctly sumbiting the master tape per their specs.

yes i have used them. that is what i meant. if i make sure my luminacne is in check on waveform and colors on vector I am good to go right?

First ask your broadcaster for their standards.

Audio alone can get your program bounced if you did not use a LM100 for your mix to meet spec.
