What are all these FRAME RATES?!?
Can anyone recommend me to a site with accurate information on all the different frame rate s(especially the pros and cons of each). I’m having a hard time keeping it all straight as far as 24p progressive,23.98psf(isn’t this the same as 24p?), 1080i59.94,720p, 30p,29.97,etc….pretty much the gamet.
Any articles that list the benefits of each rate would be ideal.

A good place to start learning.
The benefits of one versus the others depends on where you are shooting, what the project’s content is, what kind of camera(s) you are shooting on, how the project will be displayed, where the project will be displayed (locally, internationally), what format you are shooting on, what format you will be distributing on, and how your are going to edit it. And subjective aesthetic judgement figures in as well.
