Is there any way to stop an import that’s in progress? I’ve accidentally hit “import folder” with the wrong folder selected and now AE is importing my entire hard drive (as far as I can tell). I can always force quit, but I’d be losing some work in doing it and I was hoping there was a way around it. If anyone knows a magic keystroke to cancel an import process then please let me know.

    Cheers

Force quit or kill process. You will lose whatever is not saved. the AE autosave feature may rescue you if it is active.
Save early, save often. Always save before committing to anything that will change the file significantly.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

    Thank-you Bogiesan,

I had a feeling it was going to be something like that.
