    hi all,

    can someone help me???
i did some tutorials and stuff, but i have a probelm:

    i created a chestnut.
    looks fine.
what i want to do is, create and animate the “coating” (the green thing with the spikes)
to open, so the nut falls down.
how can i make the coating?????
how can i make a 6m THICK sphere??
i thought i would boole the nut from a filled basic shape…
but how can i fill a sphere or a tube???

so- i don’t have a single idea how this can be done!
    thanx for any help!!!!!!

    stefan

For the outer “coating” you could try the technique
    used in the Maxon
