weird….roughen edges applied to text doesnt travel with text path?
I used roughen edges to “weather” some text that I have doing a simple pan across the screen, problem is that the texture from the roughen edges doesnt move with the text, it just sits and so it looks like the texture is underneath the text and your looking through the text at another layer…..if that makes sense….how do I make the texture travel with the text?

If your motion is just a pan, then try:
– precomping the layer then animating its position, or
– applying effect>distort>transform (after the roughen edges) and animating the position parameter within the transfrom effect. -
Per comping worked except that now my text is getting cut off on the side…..any ideas?
