Weirdness in Pro Type “collections”
Im currently working with the demo version of 9.0 with the intent to purchase the program as an upgrade to Movie Studio Platinum, primarily due to the greatly expanded capabilities of PTT.
Ive made good progress with all the functions of PTT except for the “collections” function. When I try to insert my own characters, I get totally different results than the example wording on several of the effects, such as drop and split. When I enter my own text, the effect changes to a vertical blur, that does come into focus, but the drop in effect is totally lost. What am I doing wrong ? Im also a bit confused as to exactly what point in the animation one is supposed to edit the text. It must obviously be totally visable on the screen in order to do so, therefore the time line must be set toward the end. Any help would be appreciated.

How many seconds is the event with the pro-type titler? If you extend this event on the timeline, is it playing the complete effect?
