    Weird web-like effect between parts of letters when using text, making letters look like blocks (screen capture included)

    I am doing a tutorial right now and their are weird web like effects between letters. Here is a screen shot of my AE screen and the tutorial of what it’s supposed to look like in a smaller window:

    If anyone nows how to fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    You have the stroke turned on for your text layer. Open the character palette and turn off the stroke.
