    No hidden attack needed, Andy.
First of all cards weren’t copied by me.
Secondly: as I also sad several times before: card structure is fine.
Thirdly: if you read Jeremy’s post careful it is not a mishandling of the card, but a fault of the OS misinterpreting the AVCHD wrongly as QT.
    Thanx again Jeremy.

You, of course, should dupe the data to be sure

Try it manually with one card. It is only changing case of a folder.

    See if it works.

If it doesn’t, change it back.

Thanks again. I will try it when I get back to the studio. Should that also solve the problem of importing also non selected clips from the card and stick only to the once with ins and outs?

    Hi andy,

I’m not using Maverick, but 10.8.4.
And I’m quiet sure the structure is intact.
Otherwise I assume FCP 7 L&T wouldn’t recognise it either, but it does.

    That’s my thinking, yes.

We are trying to get the OS to not automatically “package” the material.

OK. If your footage structure is anything like mine, I have figured this out.

Here’s what your footage looks like, right?:

    directorytree.png

This is footage from an AF100. There are two cards, B01 and B02. If I simply twirl down the folders in the tree, it looks like the above picture.

But, if I double click the B02 folder, you get the controls back and can import pieces of the footage. I tried to explain this earlier, but epically failed. :):

    Hope this helps.

If it doesn’t work for you, then try renaming the folders as linked to before.

Jeremy, you are the man! Thanx!
That was exactly what solved it!
