    AE 6.5
    G5
    Aurora Codec
    rendering uncompressed 10-bit

i have been getting these strange renders where it looks fine and then reaches a point where it must be choking. i start to get strange vertical lines in magenta and bright green. sometimes it keeps changing in cycles until there’s nothing but noise…

what’s happening?!! i’ve been able to change the output by changing the number of motion blurs required to render, but somehow i am not sure if this is what fixed it or just a coincidence… anyone seen anything like this? i’m stumped…. =P

    any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thats so weird that thats happening coming out of after effects. Ive had the same issue where the green and magenta lines look like stepping squares that go diagonally across my frame. It sometimes has happened even when Im exporting a video from premiere. I think it has something to do with the capabilities of the drive your rendering to.

Are you rendering out to an external drive?

I’ve found that when I disconnected my drive and rendered out to my secondary drive on my pc, there were no digital artifacts and it ran smoothly in premiere. I also defragged my machine and cleaned out all the temp files which helped out.

    hope this helps.
