    Hi guys

I’m experiencing a quite weird problem with one proxy.

I got a composition in which I build a 3D cinema using just lights and layers. It is quite a render hog because of all the shadows and lights. I rendered a proxy of it (full resolution PNGs) because I needed to implement it into another composition. It was animated by the way.
So I placed the cinema comp (proxy enabled) into my main comp.
Now the problem is, that every time I want to preview the comp in any better than quarter resolution it can’t render it. In the info panel I see “Retrieving Frame” and “Transform & Compositing” flickering meaning it tries to do it but it never comes to an end. It’s the cinema layer that’s causing it, since it renders fine without it even in full resolution.
I checked the proxy and it’s all looking good.

    Anyone exprienced this already?

    AE CS4
    Win Vista 64bit

    Thank you

Have the same issue in CS6. Did you ever manage to solve this?
