Weird “Invisible border” glitch in Vegas 9
So in sony vegas 9, when a move an image/video towards the edge of the video underneath, using the “event pan/crop” button, I can’t seem to move the image to the extreme right/left/up/down of the video. Instead there a appears to be an invisible border/layer above, which covers the image.
Its not particularly well phrased sorry, but here is a picture showing the problem

While you’re in Pan/Crop, right click on the image, select “Match Output Aspect”, resize as desired and then everything will work as expected.

Yea, the clue here is the Pan/Crop window shows a square cropping area and I’m guessing that your video is not square (it’s a rectangle). Match the correct output aspect as Mike suggested and it will behave as you expect.
