I’ve encountered a weird problem. I’m mastering a 60min program to a Sony DVW-M2000 Digibeta deck through the SDI port. When I hit play on the timeline and record on the deck everything looks normal. If I try to insert edit onto a blacked tape using the ‘edit to tape’ command I get weird aliasing. It almost looks like the field order in wrong. Anyone else experience this?

Just a guess, but under the ‘edit to tape’ option under the RT menu, what have you selected? ‘Use playback settings’ or ‘Full Quality’?

That doesn’t really explain why it’s ok when you just hit play, but not ok when you edit to tape – but that’s the first place I’d check if I was having a similar problem.

    Hope this wasn’t flotsom.
