    I’ve experienced a weird phenomena in FCP 5.0.4 with DVCPro HD at 720p 60f. As I work I start lossing FCP capabilites. For example, things start getting ‘grayed’ out. I lose the ability to save and even close FCP. I have to do a hard reset of the computer.

    Has anyone else experienced this? When I reboot, all of the menus return for a while and then I progressively lose menus and menu items to the ‘gray ghost’.

    Dual 2.0 Gig G5 with 2 gigs Apple Ram.

    When unexplained things start happening with FCP run the standard Trash pref procedure and repair disk premissions and restart.

    Use FCP Rescue to do the trashing. It gets everything.

    Shane, thanks for the input… the link you supplied is not working….any updates for that link for FCP Rescue?
