Weird Distortion on 8K clips
Hello everybody!
I’ve been working on an 8K editing project in premiere for a few months now and recently started seeing some weird distortion on my footage. I’ve attached a photo.
One colleague I spoke to suggested that it is file degradation from using different versions of premiere throughout the process. I’ve been in both 2019 and 2017.
I work with proxies, but I tried relinking some original footage and that doesn’t fix it. It also carries through to the export. -

Try switching to Software Only rendering–sometimes the video card gets a little screwy.
