  Weird card malfunction/data lost

  Hello,
  Yesterday I had this situation when I was copying files from an SDHC card (5DMkIII) to a Seagate external HD. I’m running a Windows 7 machine. The disk disconnected suddenly and my card got busted. I used a quite a few recovery programs on it and the weird thing is none found nothing from that day. Only media recorded the day before – with the right names and such, but with no video. This indicates the the data from before yesterday were overwritten by yesterdays data. Only no yesterdays data is to be found. Not a trace. And I’m sure it was there because I began the copying process. Have you ever had such a case?
