So we’re editors. Uh, and we ll make edited content. Which this is.

Providing the stretched hair thin connection that allows me to post this link.

Most know that Weird Al has been releasing 8 videos of his new album on various social media sites.

Today’s last one is so perfectly apt for all of us who have ever had to edit a business video that I simply couldn’t resist linking to it here.

I’m sure NONE of you have every had to edit anything like the subject of this….

    RIGHT?

(Just click on the LARGE video at the top – but the others are – more or less – fun as well!)

    Enjoy.

My last supervisor loved to talk in this meaningless patois. I like the vid because it is such a great riff on Crosby Stills Nash and Young, but also because it kind of puts to death the over-used live-drawing illustration effect that used to be cool but now is very much over-played.

Also produced in Madison Wisconsin by TruScribe, the top creator of these white board “splainer” videos.

I’ve shot and edited a LOT of these… and I “live” in this environment full-time. This is easily the funniest thing I’ve seen in weeks. Thanks for sharing, Bill.

The juxtaposition of a counter culture song and corporate buzzwords is subtly brilliant. While not laugh out loud funny like some of his other songs I think it’s one of his best in terms of satire.
