Weird blended fields at cuts
I recently captured a professional VHS recording via Canopus ADVC110 external firewire card. I did a test encode to MPEG-2 and found that all the cuts looked sloppy. So I examined the captured DV and discovered what looks like a 1-frame dissolve on every cut. Did a SeparateFields() in AVISynth and the problem seems to exist within a single field every time. I had thought it was a field dominance (not order) issue but this intra-field blending has me stumped. Is there a way to fix this without doing a ridiculous amount of field manipulation?
