Weird black lines in video
I’m suddenly getting strange vertical black lines in some of my clips in AE.
They are dotted/dashed and they flicker on and off in my final renders.
I don’t see them while editing. Just after they’re rendered.
Anyone have any idea what’s causing this?

Do you have any plug-ins applied?

Hmmm, yes could be. when I opened this old project I was alerted that Colorista and Magic Bullet Looks needed to be installed. I just went ahead without them since they were used to just sweeten up the image a bit. I probably should have removed the effects since the plugins weren’t installed. You think that could be it?

Yes, that was it! I couldn’t remove the effects from the affected clips because AE removed them automatically when the plugins weren’t available. Yet, the clips were still somehow affected. I did a test and deleted the clips and replaced them with the same source and exported. Problem solved. Thanks!
