I have a project in Premiere CS3 with Matrox RTX2 LE card, and weird things are happening. First of all, when I imported some JPEG photos and tried to apply simple dissolves between them, I noticed that just after the dissolve, a subtle jump was happening with the most of the photos. I tried to fix changing the dissolve duration, the dissolve start, etc.
I then opened the JPEGs in Photoshop and saved them as TIFF and the problem was gone, I don’t know why.
When my sequence was ready, I tried to export it as a avi movie file, but when it started to export, at about 15%, it stopped. I tried to export to Encore, and the same thing happened. As I noticed that the export was always stopping when the sequence reached to a photo, I then replaced all the JPEG photos with the same photos saved in TIFF, and the problem was gone. I could not figure out why this is happening.
And the frame jump sintom is happening in several situations, not only with JPEG images.
    Any idea?

I don’t use Matrox hardware, but I have read on these forums that if you don’t keep it completely up-to-date you can expereince strange problems.

Check with the manufacturer for updates.

    Cheers
