Weird audio WAV placement in Premiere

Hmmm, I assume that you are able to hear your audio during preview while you are editing, correct?

…the wav plays at the very beginning of the clip…
Unsure why this would happen. Although I’ve never had to do this in Premiere, an old trick I used to use was to have a silence clip that I would place in between all gaps in the audio tracks, than export full timeline audio tracks, than insert these newly generated audio tracks and turn off the output of the ‘clip’ tracks.

Sometimes an audio signal is so low that there isn’t much to see. You can expand the height of the audio track by grabbing the separator under the track name (or, just above the name of the next track) and expand the track.

WAVs should be fine. Ideally, they should be matched to your project settings, such as 16 bit, 48kHz, stereo, PCM, uncompressed, whatever.

Okay, I feel a little dumb, but I played with it more and I figured out what was wrong XD First of all, it posted to Audio 4 for some reason, which is why I didn’t see it. And the reason the placement was weird is because I had to cut the file into two to fit youtube’s ten minute limit, and i was dragging the footage video and sound over, but not the wavs, hence the displacement. I’m really relieved though, I was afraid I’d never manage to fix it >.< Thanks for your help!
