I’m using OnLocation on a MacBook Pro running XP to capture onto a Glyph hd. Then putting the Quicktime files on my MacPro and using Premiere CS3 to edit. The files look good through the whole workflow then when I play them in the time line or source monitor the audio is all funny.
Every few seconds it sounds like it will play a random chunk of audio from another place in the clip. The video looks good. The Quicktime files on the external hd and on the system hd play just fine in the Quicktime player.
I’ve restarted Premiere, no change. I tried the “edit in Soundbooth” command to see if it would play in Soundbooth, no good, it does it there too.

    What do you guys think?

I figured it out. I was trying to edit 320000 Hz in a 48000 Hz project.

I’m glad you figured it out, I was stumped!
