  Arndt has just brought out an amazing plugin for weighting meshes, the updated weighlifter pro.

  It is now possible to keep weights to 100% accross the mesh, paint with a symmetry brush, use a spline to deform and paint weights. The list goes on and on. This was a week area in Cinema but as for now we have a tool every bit as good as any other application.
