Hello! I am looking at the possibility of purchasing the DVX100B for shooting weddings. I imagine the footage will look good in a well-lit ceremony, but how does it fair in lower light situations? Dimmer lights in a reception hall, twilight external shots, etc.

Was also wondering how good the footage looks at 24p right out of the camera with no treatment.

    Thank you in advance!

The DVX is good camera in “low light” situations. I’ve even found the use of 6 db gain to be acceptable in some situations.

Also, the 24p will look good without any additional “treatment”.

I think you’ll be pleased with the content this camera puts out.

Thanks Tim! I’m excited about it, myself and just wanted to limit the chance of buyer’s remorse! lol

The only “remorse” you will have is not having purchased it sooner.

    Cheers,
