September 10, 2011 at 1:44 amI would frankly ask the client.
Offer three formats, DVD, BluRay and a digital file. Come up with a pricing structure for each and let them tell you what they’d like. Easy enough to make all three.
One thing we do here with some clients for projects we’re going to hand them is make a DVD / BluRay combo complete with the dual disc case. They love that, like getting a project from the store.

September 10, 2011 at 5:58 pmMaybe you can offer them the video embedded in a very basic website, combined with guest book and photo album from the wedding? This makes it easy for the client to share it with family and friends, and you can use the sites as reference material. Create (or let a webdesigner create) two or three templates and you’re off to go.
– I have read the entire internet, and I am feeling a little bit bored, so I started to reply to interesting forum topics.
