I’m going to take advantage of some bargains in the world right now and take out a few ads for my wedding business.

Any thoughts from the trenches as to sites that work.

    My short list includes:

    weddingbee.com
    theknot.com / weddingchannel.com
…and of course my number one lead generator by far, “FaceBook”.

I have had so much great luck with FB, but I have pretty much saturated the market until the next batch of brides shows up around Christmas.

    Thoughts?

The Knot is very big, I hear. But my sense of it is that weddings are still chiefly a referral-based business, and any “standard” advertising you do is only going to attract the low-end business that chooses just by price alone. To get the eye of the high-dollar clients, you have to pass their gatekeepers, or infiltrate their preffered media.

    Hi Rick,

I’m going to ask you to be my friend on Facebook so if you’re wondering who Chris Bryan is, its me!

I’m interested in how you use Facebook for networking and getting leads as I’m trying to do the same.

    Thanks,
    Chris
